Another successful jury verdict
A Jury returned a favorable verdict following a trial over the validity of a will and a lost deed. Cain & Kiel Law attorney Scott Cain asserted that a will executed by the mother of the firm’s client was the result of undue influence by the client’s step-father. The jury agreed. “This was an emotional trial,” said Cain, “but the jury listened to the facts and justice prevailed.” The jury also found that the decedent had executed and attempted to deliver a deed for the family farm to the firm’s client and awarded attorneys’ fees to the client.
