Neighbors of historic North Anglin Street in Cleburne petitioned to keep alcohol sales out of a laundry mat located in a residential neighborhood. “They expressed concerns about public drinking, traffic, parking and safety of children.” When the county judge agreed with the neighbors and denied the permit, the store’s owner appealed by filing suit with the district court and suing three of the neighbors. After Cain & Kiel Law took on representation of the neighbors, the store owner dismissed the appeal.
